San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is an islet in the Biscay locality of Bermeo, famous for being the filming spot for dragon stone in Game of thrones.
It is connected to the mainland by a two-arch bridge.
On the island there is a hermitage dedicated to San Juan that dates from the 10th century, although some discoveries date from the 9th century.

Bilbao has a vibrant, avantgarde feel to it… You’ll see for yourself straight away that it exudes modernity. From it’s origins as an industrial hub, it has evolved into an international reference point for urban design and has set the standard as a model of urban regeneration.

In this tour we will visit Bilbao’s casco viejo with a stop for some traditional Bilbao style pintxos.
After we will continue our walk up to the church of san Antón, that is the oldest construction in Bilbao, and visit the Ribera market, the biggest in Europe. Then we walk along the river leaving behind the old Bilbao all the way to our included Guggenheim visit.
